Farinha de Pau is a ECO Guest House, situated in São Nicolau Island, Cape Verde. Our place is isolated and stay at 17 kilometers from next city, Tarrafal.

We have all the conditions to receive a single person or couple, to work in a home office, with a fast and functional Internet connection.

São Nicolau is a fantastic island with different landscapes and beaches, practically deserted. Here it is still possible to be on a beach completely alone, and walk 6 hours without seeing a single person.

ECO BUILDING

Farinha de Pau is an exotic project made by our hands. Step by step, we are building new parts of the house using local land and lots of recycled materials.

The bungalows are built on dry land, and when ready for use, the water from the shower, washbasins and toilet goes to the natural filter and then to the garden.

Therefore, you are responsible for creating new green areas and helping nature to recover.
